MADE TO MEASURE :: Wolfschluckner jacket

My mom wanted a new jacket so I "quickly" made one and grabbed the opportunity to take some pictures with it. It never occured to me that it would look this traditional, but when she chose these buttons, an Austrian trachten-inspired look was simply predestined. So I went with it and wore a ruffled blouse underneath and asked my mom to braid my hair. Whilst my sisters found this look pretty hilarious, I actually liked the combo a lot.

I have always had fun dressing up typically Austrian and go fully into it by braiding my hair and wearing a cute matching jacket or bag. It always felt weird to me when girls wore their short dirndl with high heels, lots of make up and trying to look all sexy. Not that I haven't tried it once, but I failed dramatically.

To dress down a bit, I decided to go for leather pants, my latest obsession. I have been on the hunt for the perfect black leather pants for a while now and can't seem to find any -- the ones I am wearing in today's outfit are my moms. It always amazes me how many great pieces she has hidden in her closet from when she was younger.

I am currently sitting at home with a cold, therefore my weekend consisted of watching Gossip Girl and eating delicious homemade chicken soup by the bf. But my new internship started a week ago and with Fashionweek being around the corner, there is actually no time to stay in bed. Happy Sunday! xx
