I've had the most relaxing two week vacation in Austria, at my parents place. If you know me, you would not believe it, haha. I am usually not a 'relaxing-reading-napping-every-two-hours' kind of person but I really took some time off my computer, my phone (although I posted on Instagram quite frequently) and since my sewing-machine might be broken, I did not work at all. I actually feel like a proper student since I quit my job as well in order to have August completely off and only do what I want to do, whenever I want to do it. Anyway, I have discovered the half bun for myself and tried to pull it off in today's pictures. My hair gets pretty crazy in summer, especially after swimming, but with my all-relaxed-mood I don't really care.
I am getting really good at posting once a week again, I must say I am surprised. While it's been a little quiet on LOC at the beginning of the year, I am now more motivated to shooting looks and keeping you on track with my busy busy schedule ;-)
Today's look is inspired by Lena Hoschek's latest collection; my favorite dress was featured on my Instagram account. Although she did not show stripey dresses and comfy flats, the hat is key and it goes perfectly with this dress I got via Esprit. Isn't it the cutest? Plus, this special neckline is called Carmen, so I had to buy it, right? Besides the name, I love the length - now that I am officially old (turned 23 a week ago) I have to give skirt lengths more attention than ever ;-) But I guess I also liked the dress because of it's simplicity and timelessness. It is perfect for my upcoming trip to Vienna and upper Austria to see the family; it fits into my bag and does not wrinkle and of course: off-shoulder is still all the rage. You can find the dress here - I got it in the store though.

This is what I wore on the first day of Fashionweek and it is actually the only look we took pictures of, haha! This year Fashionweek was all about keeping it casual and comfy but fun as well. I wore sneakers all the time as it is less complicated if you rush to one show and then head over to an exhibition, fair or any other side event. About two weeks ago, Sarah and I sold bits and pieces of our closets at Mauerpark flea market where I found a beautiful vintage Levi's jacket and absolutely fell for it. I did not buy it because it was too expensive at first, but the days upon, I thought about it a lot and looked all over the internet for similar ones. Eventually, when Anni came last weekend, we went to Mauerpark again and I bought the first vintage Levi's denim jacket I saw and I am so happy to have it now! Been wearing it non stop!

Although it's only been two years since I worked at Stylight, both me and the company changed and grew a lot. It's crazy how the awards have changed, how many people work for Stylight now, and sad but true: how many people I knew already left the company. Nevertheless, I am always happy to come back to celebrate and party with inspirational influencers (as they call themselves nowadays) from all over the globe. I did not know all of the nominees, which only implies that I don't have enough time to follow big style bloggers, beauty bloggers or visionaries. Still, it was really inspiring, the venue was quite impressive and: food and drinks were for free, what more can I say?
