Hey hey! As you all might know, I spent a few days in Paris with one of my girls about two weeks ago and here's a little recap!
We arrived on Thursday night and went back to Berlin Monday night, so we had more than three days to discover the city. I did not realize that it was Fashionweek until a few days before we left, so it was quite fun to be there while the city was full of designers, fashionable people, streetstyle photographers, ... Saw some inspirational people such as Iris Apfel, Kristina Bazan, Olivia Palermo or Bryanboy. Still, compared to Berlin Fashionweek, Paris is just like Iris Apfel would say: "more is more and less is a bore". People really dressed up, mainly to get the attention of streetstyle photographers; editors however wore #allblackeverything and definitely went for comfy shoes.
I had the pleasure to check out a showroom of German brands, including Marina Hoermanseder, Stiebich & Rieth or Nobi Talai just to name a few. Besides checking on Fashion and eating what it feels like a thousand croissants every morning, we did some classic sightseeing as well. Went up the Eiffel tower till the second floor, had lunch at the Champs Elysées (the song is still stuck in my head whenever I hear this name) and of course we partied a bit as well - Parisian style. I also went a little mad and bought very expensive macarons that were totally worth it, just like the trip itself! I might be all broke now because Paris is probably the most expensive city I've ever been (well, besides Oslo) but it was a blast. Luckily, we stayed my friends cousin, so we did not have to pay for accommodation and could spend even more on food and stuff! I hope you like the pictures, I am now off to uni, feels so weird to be back and in my fourth semester already! Lots of love, xx
