Happy Monday! Last week was probably the busiest but best week I've had in quite a while! As you all might know if you follow my social media, I attended a few shows at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin, had two exams and one presentation and managed to go to three other events as well, yay :-) Me and my Austrian girl Carina, who just moved to Berlin for a couple of months, started off with the Fossil x Opening Ceremony launch party on Monday evening. It was such a lovely evening, paired with delicious cocktails and macarons and beautiful new handbags and accessories. I must admit, they reminded me on Fendi a little bit, but I guess this year every brand goes with furry bobbles and cute little animals as a pendant. Anyway, on Tuesday me and Sarah headed to the Lena Hoschek AW 2016 show at Brandenburger Tor where lovely Alexander from Cropped Magazine took some pictures of me. Must admit I was actually happy about the sun on that day, but forgot to bring my sunnies, so the picture he uploaded turned out to be .. well .. let's say not as chic as I thought it would be. #fail

However, Lena's collection was charming as always. Loads of riding boots, cool hats and pleated skirts, I absolutely loved it. Not only the weather, but also the pictures got a little better on Wednesday, where Sarah and I saw Rebekka Ruetz AW show. Another Austrian designer with me and Sarah on seventh heaven. Tyrol is where my mother grew up and I can definitely relate to Rebekka on why she chose that state as her inspiration. Absolutely loved the cape and the leather details! That night, me and Carina listened to Vienna's finest, Carola Pojer from Vienna Wedekind Blog talking about fashion, blogging and what's on her bucket list before she and her boyfriend are having a baby ;-) It was so inspiring and refreshing to hear someone talking about their passion, whether it's fashion, photography or acting and Carola is just the sweetest blogger I've ever met (Angelica Blicks is on second place, no worries!) #austriaiswunder
Thursday started quite early, as I was helping out at Marina Hörmanseder at her show at Kronprinzenpalais. Everything started off with me being lost as always, since my geographic memory is equal zero, but luckily there were some other people who couldn't find the entrance as well, haha =) Anyways, I must admit, Thursday was probably the best day. Dressing the models and helping #teamMH made me realize that I really love to work 'behind the scenes' and that I just love to be part of it more than sitting front row, just taking pictures and documenting every single thing. It just feels so good to be in a rush, get them models ready and to see how it all takes shape. I don't know .. this inspired me once again that I don't want to be the person who is 'only' talking about the clothes but is actually working on them. But yeah, Marina's team was incredibly sweet and I had a great time. After that, me and one of my girls saw Ewa Herzog's latest collection and I am really impressed. Lace, Bouclé and THE HAIR! This collection was everything, although Marina Hörmanseder's color palette and the fabrics were so beautiful as well.
Definitely picked four very interesting and stunning designers to watch, can't wait for next season! #anticipationhasthehabittosetyouup

I don't know if you are actually interested in this recap, but I wanted to share my thoughts with you and just .. I don't know, show you my favorite looks. On Friday night there was another Fashion related talk at the Apple store at Kurfürstendamm which I attended. This time, Christiane Arp (Vogue) was talking and although she did complain quite a lot about the German fashion industry and how Germans don't really have their own style, it was so interesting. I even got the chance to ask her what advice she'd give me on becoming a Fashion Designer #trustyourheart. With all the uni stress and the pressure I am constantly putting on myself, I think this week was so important for me. Yet again, I saw what I really want to do in life and that the fashion industry is where I belong. I may not be good at socializing (I'm practicing though!) but I am head over heels for Fashion. Yep, That's it. This post is ridiculously long, sorry for that =) xx
