A look I almost forgot to share with you - taken about two weeks ago when I was at my parents place. My mum bought this baby Karl Lagerfeld clutch a while ago and once I saw the metallic color and the glitter details I immediately knew how to pair it. Luckily the weather was really nice that day, so it came in handy to wear a super thick knitted pullover-dress with a leather jacket. It's a quite unusual look for me, it's all cool and edgy and it totally reminded me of The Subways - Rock n Roll Queen. I hope you feel the vibes as well ;-) The less make up, red lippy and messy hair complete my short exkursion into 'cool girl land' (hint: Gone Girl). Somehow I remind myself on my seventeen year old me wending my way from festival to festival wearing chucks, sunnies and feeling so cool, so rock & roll ;-) Anyways, I hope you like todays look - it is time to try out different kinds of things on tiny LOC blog!

You all know that I had this giveaway going on until today. I am now happy to announce that Katja won her own pair of Time For Wood sunnies - please check your inbox, I already emailed you - yay!
That's it for today - I am now off to my last coat fitting with the girls and then soon my girl Emma will arrive and there's lots of stuff to do! Happy Humpday xx

Happy Sunday to all of you!
Today, I am happy to introduce you to a great Austrian online shop that I had the pleasure to work with. They're called 'Company of Glovers' which I think is hilarious and so cool, and obviously, they work with gloves ;-) I had the chance to design my own leather gloves, which was like a dream come true to me! I have quite a collection of leather gloves and although they are not really practical for winter, as your hands will be freezing after a while, the effortless chic style they give your outfits make up for everything. If you have a look at you will see the configurator, which lets you choose between all kinds of colors, fastening, with or without fur, lining, whatsoever. It is super easy and a lot of fun! I played around for ages until I was happy with my grey-ish biker gloves that even have my blogs initials on - eeek! They are so special and I can't wait to style them loads of times, either super basic or even more feminine! Today, I decided to go with my fake fur, some vintage jeans I got from my mom and platform heels that match the color of the gloves perfectly! What do you think?

Hello hello! How are you guys? I am super excited to announce a giveaway on tiny LOC blog today! If you follow me for a while, you might remember that I teamed up with Time For Wood last year to show you one of their amazing wooden sunnies (see the whole look here). This year, we've decided to work on a Giveaway together. When I was little, I was always outside playing with my sisters and friends - I was quite into nature and I love that now that I am into fashion there are companies who combine those two things. I have already told you about my love for wooden accessories, such as bags, sunnies or mobile phone cases, and I am beyond happy that I can share this with you today and even give away one of their sunnies to one of you!

Happy Valentines Day lovlies! As I am such a big fan of any kind of celebration, doing special posts as well as dressing up for fancy occasions, I thought about doing a proper Valentines Day post which includes lace, flowers, perfumes and bits of make up. As I worked in a lingerie store until recently and pretty underwear was always my kind of thing, it seemed more than right to me to spoil myself with a little something for the month of Romance. Last year, when I teamed up with Sister Surprise I was super nervous to show you the result of our pictures, but this time I am even more nervous and really hope you are as happy with the result as we are.

'I just need some time in a beautiful place to clear my head.'

I'm home! Back at my parents place for a few days where the weather is super cold and snowy! I got this lovely bobble beanie as a christmas present from my mum, who made it by herself of course. When I was at school we strangely never really did knitting, it was really all about sewing, so I am really bad at it, but I love to do it anyway. I just knit until I make a mistake and my mum has to fix it =P When it comes to knitting or handicraft in general, my mum is an absolute pro, so I was super impressed when she handed over this beanie to me which took her like two days to make! I instantly thought of taking pictures with it once there'll be real first snow and when I got back to Austria on Sunday, a magical winter wonderland was already waiting for me. I paired the beanie with a green pullover with leather sleeves, overknees and to make my superhero-look complete, this black cape I borrowed off my mum! Its such a perfect and casual look for running errands in the city or coffee dates with your besties.

Have you guys liked HONY aka Humans of New York already? If not, I insist you to do that asap! I've been following Brandon Stanton for a few months now and I absolutely love his work. His portraits of complete strangers are simply amazing, funny and super inspiring! After taking a picture of a young man who told him about his school and the person who influenced him the most in his life, the whole HONY community raised more than one million dollars in about five days to send the kids from his school to Harvard. This is unbelievable! I really have to admit that this website makes me happy every single time Brandon posts a new picture. In one of today's pictures that young man was talking to US president Barack Obama and these lines are stuck in my head now:

'Because if you're worrying about yourself - if you're thinking: Am I succeeding? Am I in the right position? Am I being appreciated? - then you're going to end up feeling frustrated and stuck. But if you can keep it about the work, you will always have a path. There is always something to be done.'

'This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.' - Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute

I don't know when I first found out that there are people who work in a company that provides color trend forecasting, customized colors and basically help other companies with their corporate identity. It's such an interesting topic, because as a fashion designer you need to have a certain feeling for what people might want to wear in one or two years, but I think it must be even more difficult to think of one specific color that works with fashion, beauty, interior and so on.

Everyday I get a little bit closer, one day I'll be there
Everyday I get a little bit older, wish I'd came prepared
One day I'll be a little bit bolder, and wiser, and kinder
One day I will

Okay, so first of all, sorry for taking this blogging-holiday on such short notice. I didn't intend to not blog during finals but somehow my body ended up striking Saturday evening after work. I was actually feeling quite good in the past two weeks and wasn't ill for .. well .. two weeks, but turns out I just ignored my body. So the doctor told me to work as less as possible and I completely banned myself from using Instagram, Facebook and my blog.
